The Barracks Hotel Sentosa

Stayed in this beautiful luxurious hotel for a birthday weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. The quiet and well-manicured environment feels very exclusive and a perfect balance of old meets new. The service is outstanding—staff here are also incredibly friendly, warm, and would go the extra mile for you. The room is very clean, nicely scented and well-furnished. The breakfast and cocktails are also wonderful. All-in-all, a full 5-star package I would highly recommend!

We stayed at The Barracks as the last leg of our trip. Having arrived at 10 am and expecting to hang around until 3pm to check in. The manager allocated us to our room early without additional charge and we had the access to the living room for a much needed coffee and tea (their salted caramel cookies are a gem). Overall I’m most impressed by the service the friendliness of the staff and the exclusiveness provided by The Barracks. This is a hotel I’m craving to revisit. Sets the standard for me.

I can't express enough how much we loved our stay here. Low density hotel that the service they provide really feels personal. Location 5 ⭐ It's secluded enough to give exclusivity but close enough to the hot spots. It's a few minutes away from Imbia station, around 10min walk to palawan, plenty of restaurants around. Room 4.5 ⭐ Ample size (although slightly on the small size). What it lacks in space though, it makes up for quality. Quality interior, bed, pillows (with option to change it to a different type!). It was so relaxing to use the bath tub, same goes with the rainshower. Toilet is automated (seat up/down is via button, so is the bidet) and has heating feature for the seats. It also has Marshall speakers for a quality sound trip. Service 5 ⭐ From the moment you check in, to when you're walked to your room, to the breakfast the following day, you'll feel that you're very much attended to. We were celebrating our anniversary, so they made this cute bed with a greeting card, and gave us a cake during breakfast, we love the thoughtfulness. The evening canape is also a highlight, a plate of a variety of small bites, we were even able to request for top ups. And the tea-inspired cocktails are unlimited. Amenities 5 ⭐ There are two lap pools on both sides of the dining area. There's no gym but the ones from the neighboring hotels can be used (few minutes walk beside it). A buggy can also be requested to drive you along the beach area (siloso, etc.) Breakfast is mostly delicious. Didn't like the pancake from the second day as much, so might be better to opt for the breakfast platter. All in all, we would looove to be back!

Stayed at the Barracks hotel in October on our way home from visiting family in Australia. We have stayed in many boutique hotels around the world and we don't say this lightly when we say it's the best we have experienced. The attention to detail is outstanding and we must give a shout out to Adikin who made our stay so memorable, nothing was too much trouble, thank you! The food and service was first class. We stayed in a swim up room which was well worth the money as the pool was a lovely place to relax. We will definitely be back next year only this time for longer! Andrew & Carol.

One of the very best hotels to stay in Singapore if you’re looking for some couple quiet time. Away from the buss of city life. My wife and myself were terribly spoilt by the service given to us by Adikin, Nizam, Que, Thomas, Gabby, Jeffrey, Vivien, Jia Ming and not forgetting the uncle at the lobby and the housekeeping staff Ding Huan. What an amazing experience and no amount of words would be able to show our appreciation. We love the evening canapies, the free flow cocktails and mock tails, the breakfast was really good too. We quickly understood why it was an ala carte selection and not buffet because of the controlled amount of guests there are in the hotel which makes it so much more exclusive. We really appreciate that. My wife really thorough enjoyed her stay and I for one would definitely be booking again in 2024. Kudos to the team at Barracks and Far East Hospitality for training such a great bunch of people with excellent service. 🙏🙏

Absolutely enjoyed my stay with the wife over the weekend. Loved the privacy, pristine and quiet surroundings and personalised service. The living room was great with all day drinks and snacks, not to mention the generous evening cocktails, wine and canapes. Luxurious yet felt like a home away from home and the staff were exceptional and accommodating. Our favourite spot for a staycation. Will return for sure!
